Julie McDade, Optical Manager

Julie is in her second stint with ESC as optical manager, and has been an optician for 15 years. She is nationally board certified (ABO), and her NCLE is pending.
Her duties also include being an ophthalmic tech part time.

Julie genuinely believes, “there is no substitute for good old-fashioned customer service.”

Laura Summers, Optician

Laura is an ABO, nationally board certified, optician, with a pending NCLE. She has been with ESC for 11 years. In addition to being an optician and contact lens specialist, she is also an ophthalmic tech and receptionist when called upon.

A co-worker described her as, “optician always, tech or receptionist sometimes, helpful and smiling always.”

June Tepavich, Optician

June is a nationally board certified optician, with a pending NCLE as a contact lens specialist. She has been with ESC for five years, and has been an optician for 22 years. In addition, she also performs diagnostic tests when called upon to save the technicians time and keep the flow going on busy days.

Tita Virella, Optician

Tita, is an optician with over 34 years experience in various areas of the optical industry, has been working with Eye Specialists for nine years. Tita takes great pride in her work and is dedicated to helping and informing clientele based on their specific needs. Tita takes the time to work with each patient on an individual basis explaining the various lens types and lens options, and helping each select a customizable frame. After picking up your eyewear from Tita, you'll feel great wearing your new eyeglasses, and feel even better knowing that the specific fit and feel of your eyeglasses were custom-tailored for you.

In addition to her clinical work, Tita has also had over a decade of experience in a professional occupational safety capacity, in an extremely challenging role providing on-site dispensing services for 3M, the optical industry's largest provider of occupation prescription safety eyewear.

On-going continuing education and training keep Tita up to date on the newest lens styles available in the industry today.
